Sādhaka – Practitioner for Life

I am a practitioner of Iyengar Yoga since 2012-Jan. It is a practice that keeps me grounded, present, and prevents me from becoming complacent in any way. It also forms the backbone of my personal wellbeing.

I have learned from Abhay In Pune, Abhijata – Beginners class at RIMYI, Pune . I moved to Bangalore and attended a few months of classes from H.S Arun.  Since 2017, I have been learning from Jaya & Mohan and continue to do so.

My focus  in my practice is now towards, establishing myself in my personal practice and continue to deepen into the learning with increasing sensitivity, awareness, resilience. To be able to pour my learning from the class into my self practice.

My desire is to embody this beauty of this quote:

Why I Do Yoga – The Iyengar Way!

Yoga is my personal practice for Shanti(Peace). Peace in my heart, my mind, my body and my spirit allows me to be in Balance and Harmony with the World. Yoga practice is an active way of cultivating awareness of my senses and sensitivities in my body. It helps the Prana (Life-Force/ Vitality) to move through my body making my body & mind light and supple.

Yoga is my personal self care practice at the physical & emotional level. It is also a meditative practice for self-inquiry and reflection on a mind level. It keeps my body agile, mind alert and attentive in an effortless manner. It also helps me to value my body, its limits and possibilities and age with grace as long as I am here on Earth. My form of practice qualifies as “Slow Yoga” making gradual progress and raising my awareness internally and externally. Through my years of learning and practicing, I feel at ease with myself and my own peculiarities. I feel my strength to look at my years gone by with kindness and the unknown to come with softness and in-between I dive through the many layers of my existence in my present where sometimes time folds itself and I feel One with the World with a deep peaceful breath.

Yoga practice teaches me to live life as a human being and it is also teaching me the art of dying.

Personal Yoga Sessions

I offer personalized sessions for people of different ages.

I conduct 1:1 Yoga Sessions for individuals of various age and who are interested in practicing yoga to develop awareness of the body, and sensitivity of the mind.

  • 3 Sessions in a Week (1 Session at the comfort of your home +2 Sessions on a Live Video Call)
  • Fees is 5000/- Per Month.
  • Yoga Props and equipment to be procured by the learner.
